HOMEOWNERS :
1. As a Homeowner what do I do about refuse removal ?
The refuse removal is conducted by Overstrand Municipality, and occurs on Tuesdays and Fridays. Recyclable materials can be placed in CLEAR PLASTIC BAGS for collection on Fridays. Municipal regulations stipulate that all households must use a baboon proof dustbin (obtainable from the municipality). Weekend visitors must please place their refuse bags in the baboon proof dustbin at the gatehouse – the guard will assist you in doing so. Alternatively, kindly use the dustbins at 7-Eleven in Voelklip.
